How to make an application for undergraduate study

Applying to university is a big step, we want you to feel informed and ready to take the next steps. We have pulled together some key information to help you understand what the options are and relevant application process.

  • To apply for a full-time undergraduate course starting in September 2026, you should apply through Clearing. Further information about Clearing and how to apply can be found on the link below.

  • Many of our undergraduate courses are offered on a part-time basis, offering a more flexible approach to learning, which allows you to complete your studies over a longer period of time. To apply for a part-time undergraduate course, you should complete our Direct Application form.

  • If you are an international student, you can apply through the same routes as UK students: via UCAS for full-time undergraduate study, or through our direct application form. Applications for part-time undergraduate study should be made directly to us. Please note that if you are an international student applying to study in the UK on a Student Route visa, you must study your degree on a full-time basis.
